Best Place to Work
Is Borel Private Bank & Trust Company a great place to work? Our employees think so. By anonymous survey, we were voted one of the San Francisco Bay Area’s Best Places to Work for the last seven years in a row.
What makes Borel such a great place to work? We recognize that our success is not only accomplished with a focus on clients and community, but also on our employees, our number one asset and what sets us apart from our competition.
Employees are valued at Borel and it is a priority to inform, support and engage each and every one. John Conover, our President & CEO, has monthly anniversary luncheons with employees and visits with staff every day, knowing each member on a first name basis. Monthly all-staff meetings are held to discuss company progress, introduce new employees, and recognize individual outstanding contributions. An Employee Committee comprised of staff from across the Bank makes decisions on training and participates in reinforcement activities. We volunteer to teach Junior Achievement curriculum in schools, and participate in over 75 other nonprofit organizations. We host an elegant year-end party and a summer bash celebrating our Best Places to Work recognition to allow employees to get-to-know one another.
At Borel we encourage ownership, responsiveness, respect and work-family balance as stated in our core values. We hire people who do the right thing and we enable them to do so.
We are a “Best Place to Work” because we strive to be one.
