Borel Appoints George Rogers to Private Banking Relationship Manager

SAN MATEO , Calif. – May 2009

Borel Private Bank & Trust Company today announced the appointment of George Rogers to Private Banking Relationship Manager. George Rogers brings over 20 years of investment and commercial banking experience to the bank. He will be based at the San Mateo headquarters.

Prior to Borel, Rogers founded Skyline Capital Advisors and Black Mountain Capital, investment and financial services companies that were capitalized with over $50 million in equity commitments.  Before Black Mountain , Rogers was founder and Managing Director of the specialty finance and real estate investment banking groups of W.R. Hambrecht & Company, LLC, in San Francisco.  While at W.R. Hambrecht & Co., Rogers completed the largest lead-managed IPO in the firm's history at that time. Earlier in his career, Rogers completed over $400 million in commercial banking transactions for the Los Angeles office of Credit Lyonnais , an international bank owned by the French government.
