Borel Appoints Susan McCarthy to VP and Commercial Loan Officer
SAN MATEO, Calif. – September 2008
Borel Private Bank & Trust Company today announced the appointment of Susan McCarthy to vice president and commercial loan officer. McCarthy brings with her more than 20 years of banking experience. She will be based in Borel's San Francisco office.
During her tenure in the banking world, McCarthy has managed up to $150MM of loans consisting primarily of construction, land and real estate. Prior to joining Borel, McCarthy served as senior vice president at Peninsula Bank of Commerce (later bought by Wells Fargo) and as vice president at Redwood Bank of San Francisco . Before that, she was a credit analyst with CIT Group Equipment Financing in San Francisco , where she managed an asset-based loan facility with a credit line of $55MM.

McCarthy holds a B.A. from Humboldt State University and a M.B.A. from San Francisco State University . She is also a 15 year volunteer, past president and board member of the non-profit Farallones Marine Sanctuary Association.
